This family are seeking a nanny for their baby daughter Natalie, who is a very
bright, lovely and happy baby. Natalie is 12 weeks old and has Hypoplastic
Left Heart Syndrome. She's already had her first corrective surgical procedure
and will need a further two operations, 1 in the near future. She's doing really
well, but can't be around anyone with colds/coughs/flu, as she is very susceptible
to them and it could have a huge effect on her progress. Natalie also has Hirschsprung's
Disease, she's had a temporary procedure, and now has an artificial opening
of the bowel on her abdomen with a stoma
bag. It's working well and she will hopefully have permanent surgery for her Hirschsprung's
Disease in the Spring, but in the meantime it means she only feeds 30 - 40% orally
and the rest via a nasogastric tube. The family are looking for someone to offer
them help, support, advice and good practise for bringing up a baby.
