SNAP Job

SNAP Job: Daily Nanny                                                                     Ref: V2112
Description: SNAP has placed people with this family before and the family now need a temporary nanny for two weeks this summer who is bright, enthusiastic and patient. The nanny is for Lucy 13 and her big brother Alex who is 15. Lucy is autistic, she can do lots of things herself, but does need prompting. Lucy likes going to the park, using her scooter, playgrounds and going to the cinema. She also enjoys playing in her room with her many My Little Ponies! Lucy is verbal and needs someone who will encourage conversation. Alex is a very polite, bright young man who doesn't need a 'nanny' as such - but requires his tea to be cooked etc and would enjoy having an adult around who would include him in activities too. The position involves collecting Lucy from school at 3.15pm and making dinner for her and her brother Alex who arrives home the earliest at 4.30pm, some days 6.30pm. Mum gets home most evenings at 7.30pm. Lucy is a delightful little girl who needs someone to encourage her speech and general development. Lovely family, met by Sally at SNAP.
