In the following situation a cancellation fee of £300 + VAT (or £600 + VAT for abroad positions,) will be applicable: If SNAP has identified suitable applicant(s) based on the information provided about the position and sent details of those applicants to the Employer, but the Employer has changed the details of the position to such an extent, that the identified applicant(s) is/are no longer suitable. If an introduction is made contrary to this condition the Employer shall be liable to SNAP! Childcare for the full extent of the fee payable had the introduction been made by SNAP! Childcare. Such liability for payment shall be in addition to any other fees payable by the Employer.

9. Whilst SNAP! Childcare makes every reasonable effort to ensure the suitability of Employees, we cannot accept responsibility for loss, damage or personal injury arising out of any introduction, nor give any warranty concerning history, character, age or capability.

10. If a position is offered to & accepted by the nanny, but then subsequently withdrawn by the employer, the employer will be liable to pay the full placement fee.

Cancellation Fee
Some parents are nervous about our cancellation fee (See Terms & Conditions #4.). We don't believe in small print and want everyone to work with us and be very happy not only with the nannies we put forward, but with our service. We don't charge a registration fee and if we don't find you anyone suitable, you do not owe SNAP anything.

To answer some questions we have previously been asked:
We will not charge a cancellation fee if you find someone independently
We will not charge a cancellation fee if you don't think the nannies we have sent you are suitable
We will not charge a cancellation fee if we haven't been able to find any candidates for you

We only charge a cancellation fee if:

We have sent suitable candidates details to you based on the information you have given us, but you have changed the details of the position or you have withdrawn the position. We have done what was asked of us and we will raise an invoice for a cancellation fee of £300 for UK positions and £600 for positions abroad.

We will go to a great deal of trouble to find the right person for your family. We ask that from the onset you are very sure about your requirements - we can only do our part if we are working with the right information - and all the information!

We don't like raising cancellation fees - it's not what SNAP is about, but we do need to be a viable business to offer the service we do!
