Finding
the right job When we have your
registration form and CV, we will suggest relevant positions. If you are interested
in them, we will forward your details to the family. If they are keen to know
more about you, they will call you directly or we will contact you to arrange
an interview. To be put forward for jobs, you will need to provide at least two
professional references who we can call. Support
If you register with SNAP! Childcare, we will help you find the right job, but
we will also give you support and advice afterwards. We understand that looking
after a child or young adult with special needs can be very demanding. Once we
have found you a job, we will call you on the first day and again a couple of
weeks later to check that all is going well. You are of course welcome to call
us. Employment Contracts
We will provide you with a contract that is agreed between you & your employers.
This is a formal document that covers both you & your employer against specific
events, & includes details that are specific to nannies/ childcare workers.
Working in a personal environment means that there are issues that are often not
covered in a regular employment contract, especially for nannies who live in.
Contacts
Where possible we will put you in contact with other nannies / carers in your
area if you would like to get in touch. It is helpful to have friends who are
doing similar work, either to do activities together in the day or just for socialising
after work. |
