Every year Nannytax carry out a survey to calculate the average wages for nannies.

Average net wages are currently as follows for full-time jobs:

London
Daily, between £420 - £500+ net per week
Live-in between £350 - £420+ net per week

Out of London
Daily, between £370 - £450+ net per week
Live-in between £300 - £370+ net per week

Employers will be responsible for paying your tax and national insurance. We advise employers use a payroll service such as Nannytax who specifically deal with this. They will let employers know how much tax they need to pay, will provide a pay slip each month and offer advice and information.
