SNAP
Childcare is a specialist introductory agency;
we work solely with families who have children
with additional needs (and their siblings!).
We provide experienced nannies, buddies, carers
and childcare workers on a *nationwide basis
for positions that may be full or part-time,
daily or live-in, temporary and permanent.
We also help families in difficult family
circumstances, and parents who themselves
have additional needs (such as an Acquired
Brain Injury).
We work directly with families and via case
managers.
We deal with placements for babies, children
with a range of additional needs including
mild learning difficulties, physical or learning
disability and complex medical needs. We also
assist with families in particularly difficult
situations. Our SNAP16+
division works with young adults with
additional needs.
SNAP
Childcare was established in 2001 by Sally
Britton (B.Sc.), an NNEB trained special needs
nanny and Andrew Knight, the parent of Camilla,
who has cerebral palsy. Our desire was to
offer a service based on an understanding
from all sides of the equation. This continues
to be our philosophy and has proved to meet
the needs of the child the broader family
and the nanny/carer.
We see the possibilities, not just taking
care, but achieving real progress and maximising
the opportunity.
Staff at SNAP see a much bigger picture...
