Job: Part-time (Nanny) Ref:
V2374 |
Description:
This family are seeking a part-time nanny
for Alex who is 4 years old. Alex has cerebral
palsy, is registered as blind (though he can
see at times). He cannot walk and has his
own ways of communicating - mostly smiles!
He is very stiff. Mum needs someone in the
mornings to sit with Alex whilst he waits
for the bus - play and chat to him, then in
the afternoons to meet the bus as it drops
him off in the afternoon. The nanny will then
give him some mild reflux medicine and feed
him his dinner. Alex eats pureed food and
drinks from a bottle. After this, the nanny
will get him ready for bed - lots of play
and stories until mum arrives home. He loves
baths and massage, music, singing, stories,
to be outside and he loves to play. Alex is
a really lovely easy little boy to look after,
he's very cuddly and happy. He just needs
someone who will play with him a little and
give him cuddles! There may be further hours
available during the school holidays - possibly
2 days a week. If someone could only do the
afternoons this will be considered, but it
is definitely preferred to have the help in
the mornings too.
