Description:
We are looking for a nanny/housekeeper for this family who have three children:
Michelle 10 1/2 , Thorbjorn 6 and Lochlann 8. The position can be either daily
or live-in. Lochlann has brittle bones and therefore can break any bone very easily.
He uses wheelchair part-time, but walks around in the house most of the time.
He doesn't need any lifting, he can either walk or crawl up and down stairs. He
is physically small and can't walk very quickly. He is a bright and very happy
little boy who is easy to get to know and work with. He loves anything to do with
balls, his computer, football cards, drawing arts and crafts, cooking and baking.
He is a very talkative and sociable boy! Lochlann needs someone who will make
sure he is safe when playing, but not be overly protective, he needs space to
be an 8 year old boy, so it is a fine line! He specifically needs someone to look
out for him when attending parties and play dates. The position is very much a
nanny/housekeeper role - as well as the usual nannying duties, while the children
are at school there will be household duties, including ironing and cleaning.
If someone likes cooking that will be a big plus! The wage is negotiable for someone
with excellent experience.

very occasional weekends. 45 hours a week if daily, 50 if live-in. Usual hours
8am to 5pm, (+1 additional hour if live-in). The family would like one evening
of babysitting too - if this goes over the 45 / 50 hours it will be paid as extra.

Personality
of nanny/carer: Good communicator,
someone who is nice to the children but at same time be firm but fair. Someone
who can be think for themselves and judge what is safe or not safe for a child
with a physical disability.
