Description: We are looking to find this family an overnight carer for their son Idris who is 13. Idris is non-verbal (enjoys using VOCA), has global developmental delay, requires all care, is fed by NG tube, has cortical visual impairment, and uncontrolled epilepsy. He requires all help, including personal care. He can be very cheeky and vocal! Idris loves music, sensory play, stories and swimming (very warm water), baths and disasters! Idris has periods of acute illness. Idris has a sister Mabli who is 10, but care will be predominantly with Idris. When unwell he is unable to attend school. If you are interested in this position, more details can be provided by Kirsty. This position would be one night a week, days and times flexible upon arrangement with family.

Wage Gross (before tax): £9.50 week night, £10 weekend night. Time and a half on bank holidays if worked

Personality of nanny/carer: Full of beans, flexible, happy, adaptable, fluent English, dynamic, resourceful, non-confrontational, calm, with good communication skills and willingness to liaise and work as part of a team, respectful of disability, privacy and family routines
